Loved the acorn noodle 10/10! Very healthy with a lot of veggies yet refreshing and well-seasoned. The portion size was good too. Underrated menu item for sure.

Oh my gosh the family who owns this restaurant are the cutest ever. They were so attentive and sweet and I'd come back just for them tbh ;-; The food being delicious was just a plus - the short rib was sooo tender and flavorful and the tofu soups were solid. They gave plenty of side dishes and the vibe inside is very cozy and welcoming.

They sat us as soon as they could. The tables were turned over at 12:30 noon as soon as they could. Couples and groups of two or three. It was not completely full. Banchan was fresh and a good portion. We had the pork tofu soup and purple rice. No complaints. They came by and looked at us at least once. No refills offered to any of the tables for banchan so less one star. Even if I don't need a refill, it would be nice if they asked if we needed anything.

Was a solid 8.5/10 Now a 6.5/10 This use to be a staple for me and my friends. Who doesn't love a good korean tofu soup on a cold day and sharing banchan with friends? Unfortunately the quality has downgraded since over 8 years ago. I used to think the the server/owner? of the place was very funny. He used to push me to get the purple rice (which was extra) and push my friends to order the seafood pancake which is delicious (and gave us a discount). I always felt pretty homey eating at this location. However, the food quality has definitely downgraded since then. They no longer provide an egg for the tofu soup (my favorite part!) due to the recent bird flu. The last time I went, the banchan was pretty bland, and the soup was too salty that I packed it to go. Overall, it was such a disappointing experience. Not to mention, this was during a special occasion. I don't think I'll be coming back often anymore. The 4/5 stars is for the nostalgia.

Really enjoy eating here for the friendly service and excellent side dishes. The tofu soup was above average, very satisfying on a cold day with the right amount of spiciness, plenty of tofu, and a small portion of beef. The seafood pancake was decent, nothing special. Restaurant was full but still relatively quiet inside, makes for a nice meal with friends or family. Will recommend this place to anyone looking for a reasonably priced Korean meal with plenty of menu options (but a focus on tofu soup and barbeque) and delicious sides.

Solid place for Korean food. We ordered the assorted (mild) and beef tofu soup (medium), seafood pancake, beef short rib, and bulgogi. The tofu soup is always good here and the medium is not too spicy. The seafood pancake is crunchy and comes in medium or large. They give a good amount of meat as well and it's well marinated (lunch and dinner prices). There's a lot of tables and it's usually not too crowded so the wait isn't too long. There's chairs in the front for a waiting area. They also take same day reservations (have to call). The workers are super nice and like to joke around. They're also very attentive and the food / service is quick. At the end they also give free rice crackers.

I go here a lot and my review hasn't changed. I like this place because of the side dishes they have. It's such a good variety of dishes and I liked all of them. My boyfriend said a few of them weren't that good but I think he is wrong. I got the beef soup this time and it was very hearty and yummy.
